Our tailor shop in Patong, Established since 1999 started with, Mr. Johnny working as a salesman in a small custom made clothing tailor shop in Patong.
After gaining knowledge in this field of work he created his own tailor shop, but unfortunately after 5 years, it got demolished by the tsunami in Phuket on the 24th of December 2004.
A year later he decided to start again and opened his second tailor called “New David Jone Fashion Tailor”. He got this name from his regular customers, who suggested it as his tailor name.
Since then he started a trust worthy team with salesmen, crafters, vast work place and has built a strong customer community with extremely attention to details and quality materials.
Our tailor business has been opened for business for more than 20 years and will go on till the end.

I personally ordered two suits: one in green made from a cashmere and silk blend, and a double-breasted grey suit crafted from wool. I had three fittings to make small adjustments to ensure both suits fit my body shape perfectly.

We handed over my wedding dress to fix two hooks. Told them the dress had to be ready the next day because the wedding is the next day there again. The dress was not ready when we went to pick it up. very disappointed.

My friend got yelled at for my truth review. They was at the tailor for pic up their dresses and was told that I have to take the review down. Very unprofessional and unacceptable!

All the linen suits for the boys turned out very nice and my friends are very happy, while me and my bridesmaid did not get our dress fixed at the agreed time. There was never any informations about possible delays because my wedding dress only needed two hooks and my friend needed a slit on the dress. The tailor were informed four or more times by all of us that the wedding would be on Friday so that the product would be finished on time. The tailor said many times that is will not be a problem because it was just two small hooks that need to be hand sew direct on.
I ending ut fining another store that sew the two hooks on for me just after one hour later we got the dress done.
We hope the store will take responsibility for this unwanted situation and that dresses for wedding will be prioritize as promised. We are all human and we can do wrong and that’s ok. David was very patient and gave me extremely good advice. From patterns to colors to the inner lining, everything suits me as a person and my ideas! Very good job for good prices. I only wanted a 2-piece suit and ended up taking a sports jacket and 3 shirts because the work was so convincing.

Great spot. I was a little worried given the short time frame of my trip but they were extremely accommodating and even came to my hotel for a fitting. Kind and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. My wife and I both got items and were both extremely happy. Great material options if you are willing to spend a little more. I accompanied friends who wanted to buy quality, tailor-made suits and dress shirts while in Phuket. While at their measuring, I found myself flipping through the style and fabric books, but knowing that I'd never be back to try on the suits once made. "No problem," David said, "We'll meet you at the airport!"
So I got measured, picked my fabrics, paid, and left. A week later, only as I arrived at the airport was I able to call the shop to say that I had only 2hrs before boarding my flight. That's when one employee hopped on a motorbike with my suit and shirt in a garment bag, swerved through rush hour traffic, meet me just outside the departures building, and waited while I ran to the restroom to try on the new clothes.

David put me in a suit I couldn't refuse. A beautiful emerald green. I felt like royalty and he treated me as such. The turnaround on the suit was 30 hours (unheard of) his team must be exhausted. We used David Jone last year to make a coat for my wife. They did an excellent job. This year I had a suit made. I am very pleased with it. There was a wide range of fabrics. I chose an Australian merino. The style and finished product are excellent. This is a first class business suit. I also had 2 business shirts and 2 casual shirts made. All fit perfectly. My wife has had 2 jackets and 2 blouses made. She wanted a few changes along the and David was very accommodating. Nothing was a problem. We highly recommend David Jone.

Great shirt made to measure! The staff were professional and friendly; the shop looked nice. Hrad to beat for service, price and quality, so I recommend you pay them a visit.
I chose lamb leather from the sample i was shown. I wanted a soft leather jacket, BUT when i got my jacket it was NOT made with lamb leather. It was stiff and not soft at all. I was told it would soften after i wear it. What a load of rubbish. It will never get soft like the sample. I was ripped off!! I paid $600AUD. NOT HAPPY

We recently visited Phuket, and came across this Guy David he was very informative and helpful showing us different types of materials and colours we ordered 1 originally then when we returned for a fitting we ordered a second one highly recommend. And fast but well made suits.

Went here as the place was recommended to me by several local expats - was surprised as in this location I was expecting it to be a complete tourist trap, but was pleasantly surprised. The sales staff were great and not at all pushy, simply advising you of the different options available and letting you choose. In fact, since this was for a daily utility work suit, the staff recommended I go with the lower cost blend product to reduce wrinkling and increase longevity. They turned around a complete suit and shirts for me in 3 days - measuring and order on the 1st day, first fitting on day 2, second fitting in day 3, and pick up later that day or the next day. I purchased a suit with an additional pair of trousers and 3 shirts. All in was 25k baht and they threw in a tie. My colleague also ordered 2 shirts and they were ready in 48 hours. Would recommend empire and will be taking my guests here in the future!

I went to David initially to get a suit for wedding I had coming up. He initially showed me a few fabrics and I was amazed by the quality at the price point. When you first walk up you feel a sense of professionalism that most stores don’t have. Sitting inside the air conditioned store you are greeted by friendly staff, offering drinks and kind words. When it comes to the custom tailoring these guys know their stuff. They take measurements quick smart and find out the kind of cut you’re after. Two days is all it took and they had the suits ready, stitched and cut to your liking. A few final adjustments and everything’s done. Could not recommend them any more than I have. Pure professionals, absolute legends and hot dudes all round.

Just received my suit. I went to a couple of stores before deciding on this one. Why? Very competent and friendly consultation with a fair price right away. Everyone else started their first price about double the amount offered here.

I originally walked by the shop and noticed they had a great selection so decided to take a chance. The shop had great service and since we were here for awhile we did 3 fittings to make sure the fit was great. It is a bit pricier than some of the other shops around but the attention to detail and quality are worth it. Ended up paying $600 for 3 high-quality suits made with Italian wool and very happy overall with the experience 😊

I was referred to Mr. Johnny’s shop by a friend who told me that if I wanted a suit, this tailor is the best and most economical tailor on the planet. Being that I had suits made in India and Dubai I really wanted to see if that was true and visited his shop. Johnny was very professional and provided me great quality fabrics at very good prices! Not only that but he took precise measurements of key areas that resulted in very fine looking custom shirts, blazers, and trousers! He also had a unique selection of linings that gave my suit interiors a unique look that can't be found elsewhere.
